Pingaara Horticulture Farmers Producer Company Ltd. is an active private company that was established in 2016 in Bantwal, Karnataka, India. As a Farmer Producer Company (FPC), its primary purpose is to help farmers by adding value to their produce and providing them with direct market access for higher returns.

• Focus on Value-Added Products: The company was formed with the specific aim of utilizing the surplus production of jackfruit and bananas. They create and sell value-added products like Jack Halwa, banana halwa, banana sukeli (dried banana), and banana chips.
• Farmer-Centric Model: Pingaara FPC has over 1,000 farmer members, primarily from the Vitla area of Dakshina Kannada. These farmers, who primarily cultivate areca nut, coconut, and pepper, also have naturally growing jackfruit trees on their plantations. They provide their produce to the FPC and have also invested a share capital of ₹1,000 each in the company.
• Market Linkages: The company helps farmers by procuring their raw produce directly from their doorsteps, thereby reducing the burden of marketing on the individual farmer.
